Description
The Asec mortice security bolt is a common addition to any external door to give added security, simply install one top and bottom of the door and you have effectively increased the security level of the door to 3 point locking. The Asec door bolts come packaged as a set for one door, each pack includes 2 bolts, 2 strike plates, 2 escutcheons and a key. The packs are available in an electro brass finish, polished chrome finish or painted white finish. Once installed the bolts are operated by the turn of the star key, from one side only, to lock or unlock the bolts. A key is supplied in each pack.   As an alternative the key can be replaced by a fixed oval turn, please see related products. However, please consider the security of the door and particularly avoid turns on pairs of French doors.
