How to Meassure a Euro Cylinder Lock in 3 Simple Stages.

 

Stage 1: Remove the fixing screw that is located on the side of the door, in line with the bottom of the euro cylinder lock.

 

 

Stage 2: The Key is needed to turn a cam that is holding the Cylinder Lock into the door frame, With a pulling movement turn the key slowly untill you feel the euro cylinder lock pull out of your door. 

 

 

Stage 3: Measuring the Cylinder Lock, You need two meassurements.

 

Meassurement 1: From one end of the euro cylinder to the centre of the fixing hole (A)

 

Meassurement 2: from the other end of the cylinder lock to the centre of the the fixing hole (B)

 

 

Summary: You shall now be able to understand how to meassure your euro cylinder lock for example If section (A) meassures 35mm and section (B) meassure 50mm this would be a 35/50 euro cylinder lock.
